Vascular accesses are required during hemodialysis so that the patient’s blood can return to his body after it has been dialyzed. However, the small size of microsurgical materials used in vascular accesses, such as needle holders, tweezers and clamps, makes them quite tricky to handle and not very efficient, often requiring the presence of an assistant surgeon during the procedure.
This product consists of a set of clamps arranged in a configuration that facilitates the medical procedures performed during hemodialysis sessions, especially in the creation of arteriovenous fistulas. The product’s configuration prevents injury to patients and facilitates the technical procedures, precluding the need for an assistant surgeon.
