Bovine cysticercosis affects beef cattle ranching due to partial or total condemnation of contaminated carcasses, being the main responsible for the condemnation of carcasses, which limits the possibilities of exporting meat and reduces the prestige of the producing country and the value of its products.
The present invention describes an automated immunosorbent for the rapid diagnosis of bovine cysticercosis, which allows the diagnosis of cattle before slaughter by the producer, allowing the treatment of the infected animals. This reduces the financial losses caused by the disposal of already contaminated carcasses.
