The instruments used in endodontics are basically files, magnifiers, orifice openers and digital spacers. Many of these instruments, of high precision and effectiveness, are manufactured from sensitive materials and subject to wear and tear. Instrument cleaning procedures, necessary to ensure safety of treated patients, often cause damage due to a lack of adequate protection.

The invention consists of a device that has the suitable form  for endodontic instrument storage. The device has been developed to protect instruments during cleaning procedures such as autoclaving and other thermal and chemical treatments. In the device, there is also an use controller system to aid the professional that uses it. The storage and protection of endodontic instruments by this invention gives a longer instrument life and greater safety for the patients.
