The yeast used by Brazilian breweries is discarded after a few cycles of use. In parallel, orange liqueur is the residue of the production of orange juice and is not used in its entirety, and there is also discard in this case. Disposal of waste in general represents poor use of resources and causes environmental impact

 

 

SOLUTION

 

The present technology proposes the use of these two industrial residues for the production of brandy, a product extremely popular in Brazil. In addition to presenting low production costs, the process minimizes the environmental impacts generated by waste disposal and optimizes the utilization of resources used in the orange juice and brewery industries
