Brazil is one of the principal bio-diesel producers in the world, ranking 2nd in worldwide bio-diesel production and 3rd in consumption. Wanting to elevate the development of this technology, the number of agriculturist participating in the Production and Usage of Bio-Diesel Program has grown at a fast rate because of the great results in research, development and investment in sustainable vegetable oil.

This new heterogeneous catalyst uses non-toxic compounds in its composition, presents high efficiency and excellent performance for the bio-diesel production. Besides that, can be reused during many production processes, reducing energy costs, low input and residual occurrences and, consequently cost reduction in the production process and final product.
