The acrylic acid is a chemical industry’s broadly used product and currently its main obtainment form is from the propylene oxidation, a petrolium’s olefin derivated. Through this technology it is possible to obtain acrylic acid from the glycerol conversion, a subproduct of the biodiesel production, that is, a totally ecological method in its acquisition. Another differential is the glycerol conversion in acrylic acid in a single stage, different from the currently founded procedures, in this way, the technology provides this conversion in a faster and economic way, beyond the fact of solving one of the problems of companies that act in biodiesel production, which is glycerine generation.
It is possible to product acrylic acid in a totally ecological way and in a single stage using a vanadossilicate, reducing the time and cost of its production, beyond that, employing this technology the companies that act in the biodiesel production field could have the solving of one of its probles, which is the glycerine generation.
