PROBLEM

 

Actually the compound resins are the most used materials in direct dental restorations, with predominance of photo-activated resins. The aesthetic results of the dental restorations using compound resins are excellent; however, some resins mechanical behavior before and after the polymerization process are unsatisfactory, specially, the elevated polymerization contraction.

SOLUTION

 

The developed technology consists in a LED photo-activator equipment that allows the electronic control of luminous intensity during the photo-activation of the odontologic resins polymerization process, in a way that the user obtains better polymerization results and consequently in restorations, specially, the significantly reduction on the contraction tension.
