The peanut harvesting process is composed of the stages of ripening, drying and harvesting, and the highest losses in the mechanized peanut harvest occur during the ripening. If this operation is not carefully managed, up to 47% of the total crop loss can be achieved.
The developed device offers an improvement in starter and inverter equipment for peanut cultivation. The use of this device, which is operative when coupled to a starter-inverter, promotes some benefits, such as reduction of losses during the starter phase and improvement of the performance of the tractor during the operation.
